At Empire Imagery we take pride in our internship program!

With our internship experience, our goal is to encourage, uplift, and help build photographers into the individuals that we strive to be in the ring and at the backdrop. If you have a passion for the livestock industry and are eager to learn more about photography from some of the most reputable photographers in the industry you have come to the right spot!

We are seeking two individuals to join our team at the 2021 Iowa State Fair!

• REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18 years or older and supply your own equipment - a DSLR Full Frame camera is required!

• EXPECTATIONS: Comfortable around livestock, familiar with camera settings, understanding of shooting in manual mode, able to work in a group setting.

• RECOMMENDATIONS: A background and knowledge of the livestock industry is strongly encouraged, but not required.

• DETAILS: This is a paid internship. All meals and accommodations will be covered along with a daily rate.

• DUTIES: This position may include but is not limited to capturing sheep, goat, and swine ring shots, helping assist at the backdrop, editing and culling the images you take, and capturing around the barns images of all species during the event.

• DATES: August 12th + 13th OR August 19th + 20th - If both dates work for you, choose "both" when completing the application.
